For lunch, I chose a pork burrito from Tortilla, with green salsa, pinto beans, rice, and guacamole. I enjoy the burritos here and tend to eat them about once a fortnight. It's not cheap (£5.65 for a medium portion) but the servings are large and it always tastes fresh. The pork has been slow cooked and is soft and fibrous. Today's wrap was up to the usual standard. Word of note - if you're going to visit the Leadenhall Market branch, make you don't do so between 12.30 and 1.30 as the queues are pretty frustrating - at least they are if you an impatient so-and-so like me.
Spaghetti alla Puttanesca for dinner. It was missing capers and perhaps had too many olives. Fine though, and the spaghetti was al dente. Told you it was a boring food day.
